Signs Your Blanco Fence Installation Is Failing

• Bottom rail bowing or detaching from posts. The vinyl expands in Pomona’s 100-plus-degree summer cycles while the internal aluminum insert doesn’t, creating shear stress at the bracket. We see this most often on south-facing Select series fences installed before 2019, when Blanco changed the insert alloy.
• Gate sagging and latch misalignment. The gate frame is a welded rectangle under constant dynamic load; once the diagonal brace loosens or the hinge rail cracks, gravity takes over. In Pomona’s clay-heavy soils, post settling accelerates the misalignment by 1/8 inch per year if the footing wasn’t dug below the frost line.
