The Toto channel drain systems sold in the U.S. market fall into the TD series, with TD200 and TD300 being the most common residential sizes, both using a 4-inch nominal width with either slotted or mesh grating options. The catch is that Toto grates from 2018 and earlier used a slightly different locking tab spacing than current production, so a TD200 grate bought today will not seat properly on a 2016 channel body without adapter clips, which Toto sells separately as TD-ADP-01.

Signs Your Toto Driveway & Pavers Is Failing

• Standing water 30 minutes after rain stops. The channel drain grate is clear but water pools anyway, which usually means the debris basket underneath has cracked or the channel body has settled out of level. What you can safely check: lift the grate with a flat pry bar and inspect the debris basket for cracks or sediment buildup. If the basket is intact and the channel body looks level, a garden hose flush may clear the obstruction. What goes wrong fast: the channel body is not designed to be disassembled in sections by hand, and the polymer concrete will crack if you pry at the wrong point.
