For doors, Tuff Shed specs a 32-inch by 80-inch steel prehung on most sheds under 200 square feet, and a 36-inch unit on larger models. The critical detail: their rough openings are often framed at 82.5 inches, not the standard 82, because Tuff Shed builds on a steel base rail that sits 0.5 inches above the slab. A standard prehung installed without adjusting the header leaves a gap at the top or forces you to cut the door, which voids most manufacturer warranties.
